The therapy team at Family Achievement Center is comprised of the following
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST will provide and direct speech and language therapy services to patients/clients who have impairments such as: functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in speech and/or language function and health status, resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. This includes, but is not limited to: evaluation, direct treatment, consultation services, and education, in collaboration with a variety of professionals. Direct and assist clients with speech, language, swallowing, cognitive aspects of communication, and sensory awareness related to communication, swallowing and other upper aerodigestive functions. PHYSICAL THERAPIST will provide and direct physical therapy services to patients/clients who have impairments such as: functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status, resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluation, direct treatment, consultation services, and education, in collaboration with a variety of professionals. Direct and assist patient in therapeutic interventions that focus on posture, locomotion, strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, coordination, joint mobility, pain, healing, and functional abilities.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REGISTERED is responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery. They are also accountable for the safety and effectiveness of the occupational therapy service delivery process. To provide and direct occupational therapy services to patients/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status, resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluation, intervention planning, direct treatment, consultation services, and education, in collaboration with a variety of professionals.
PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR is reliable, passionate, and excited to be part of a growing company with a mission to provide hope and improve lives. The Patient Care Coordinator embraces technology, has knowledge in HIPAA compliance, Electronic Medical Records, scheduling and intake, Third Party Payer, and Medical Assistance regulation. They will be the face of our company and community we have built throughout the years, so you must possess excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills, be detailed oriented and enjoy working with clients and their families.
MEDICAL BILLING AND INSURANCE SPECIALIST is responsible for ensuring a smooth billing process for all claims submitted to payers for payment. This individual is a subject matter expert in all aspects of the insurance and billing process. They also research billing issues, resolve problems and errors and can confidently speak and share information to Senior Leadership. Being part of the business office team requires the Specialist to be agile and flexible with tasks, as well as being cross trained in multiple job functions. The ideal candidate has insurance verification and billing experience in a medical clinic setting (2 years minimum). This candidate will also possess strong critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, advanced knowledge, and experience with Excel. They will also posses the ability to manage the billing system functions.
